So we could finally have unlock for iPhone baseband 05.12.01 this June. MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team has given a hint for June release of iPhone basbeband 05.12.01 unlock after Apple officially launches the iPhone 4G with OS 4.0 at WWDC 2010 earlier next month. MuscleNerd said this while replying to a tweet, he further advised users to decline the basbeband upgrades from Apple in future. Here is the original Q&A:

So, you’ll have to be careful while upgrading to iPhone OS 4.0 as it will also upgrade your baseband to 05.13.
