A block of code in iOS 4 hints that some ‘unreleased hardware’ might have been rest run, and it could be iPad 2 and CDMA iPhone 4 or may be iPhone 5. This block of code is basically intended to perform the iPhone and iPad activation process after iOS is installed over it. Code highlights the exemption that may have been given to next generation iPhone or iPad so that those could be test run. So, the rumors of CDMA iPhone 4 or 7 inch iPad 2 in first quarter of 2011 might have some weight.
