You can now change font on your rooted Android device using TypeFresh app for Android. TypeFresh has been developed by a member of xda-developers forum named openback. It allows you to perform following functions:

• Apply selected TTF font to Android device
• Backup system fonts to Fonts directory in SD Card (/sdcard/Fonts)
• Restore backed up fonts from SD Card
• Copy TTF files into /sdcard/Fonts for easy access to fonts

You can easily select the font you wish to apply from sdcard/Fonts on your rooted Android device. You will need to reboot the device in order for changes to take effect. Prior to applying new font, you should save the default fonts if you wish to apply them back at any time. Android device font will turn to default when you update the ROM.
