Download iOS 4.2 / 4.2.1 [Direct Download Links]

Apple iOS 4.2 is available for download now. You can download 4.2 iOS for your device simply by hitting the “Check for Updates” button in the iTunes. After the click the “Update” button to update to iOS 4.2. Here’s the screenshot:

I have tried downloading for iphone 3gs 4.2.1 but the ZIP file i get contains no *.ipsw am i doing something wrong?

Rename the .zip file to .ipsw.
