Spirit jailbreak for iPad and iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 has been quick but has also caused some issues with users trying to jailbreak their iDevices with Spirit. Perhaps most annoying one is when Spirit doesn’t detect your iTunes and continues showing the message:

“Spirit Requires itunes 9 to function. Please install the correct version of iTunes and run spirit again.”

Perhaps the best solution is to try Spirit jailbreak on another computer. It is also recommended one since the second solution is not tested and may not work. Nonetheless we may have an alternate solution, thanks to Spirit Fixer by Kirma. Here is what you need to do to fix Spirit iTunes error:

  1. Download Spirit Fixer by Kirma [RapidShare link | MediaFire link]
  2. Extract the downloaded files
  3. Run Spirit.Fixer.By.Kirma.v1.01.exe
  4. Now run Spirit.exe

Your error should be fixed now. You can resume to jailbreak iPad or iPhone 3.1.3 using Spirit.
