TweetDeck LogoTweetDeck, one of the popular Twitter clients, has just launched the version 0.33 that has some exciting new features. TweetDeck now comes with support for YouTube which means that you can view YouTube videos right within TweetDeck and don’t have to open the YouTube links in browsers to watch the videos. There’s also support for Posterous, Mobypicture, Twitgoo, and Flickr and images from all these will now open in the preview box. Mobypicture has also been added as image uploading service in addition to TwitPic.

Apart from adding support for new media services, there’s major user interface improvement with addition of column viewer that lets you manage your columns easily. On hover, it shows the status of that specific column and clicking over it takes you to that specific column. It’s very useful feature for professional users who keep track of different hashtags and have quite many columns added in their TweetDeck. You will not have to scroll long way just to check the status of that column it’s been made easy by column viewer. Here is how YouTube videos look on TweetDeck Preview box:

As from now, TweetDeck is using OAuth, the open protocol to share resources, for smarter API usage. This means that TweetDeck can now make up to 350 API calls in an hour, and it can still go beyond that.
