Having Issues with Angry Birds for Android? Report Here

The much awaited beta of Angry Birds for Android was released today. Some users are reportedly having issues with Angry Birds. It’s crashing for some users while others are facing minor issues. If that’s the case with you, do report it to Rovio, the developers of Angry Birds game. According to them, Angry birds for Android should work on Android 1.6 and above and supports all Android devices including:

I have a Samsung Intercept and there are parts of the graphics that come up white. They appear on the bottom portions and other boundry areas. Anybody else with a Samsung Intercept having similar problems?

  I am having the same issue with Samsung Intercept, parts of the graphics are missing. The explosions don’t show up and certain parts of the terrain show as white.

Having issues getting this game to work on Motorola Cliq. The phone is listed under the compatible phones list given out by the developers, so I’m not worried about the phone itself. But when I load up the game, I get a sky blue screen with a small white bar along the top of the screen. The only thing I can do is hit the “menu” button of my phone, and I can see the credit roll. That is all I can do. I hear a lot of phones are experiencing problems getting this app to work properly. Mostly black screens and music, but no picture. Maybe it’s just something I have to sit tight for and hope the dev can fix… Any recommendations?

Game starts off fine, then starts to skip and get very “glitchy”, screen automatically zooms all the way out. Buttons and controls are unresponsive. After quitting the game, I can not even power my phone down, nothing seems to work, very frustrating. Moto Droid

after updating angry birds, it runs very slow, and i use to see white patches that are now brown, patch it!

I just got the LG Ally and I cannot find the Angry Birds app at the Marketplace. Is there a way to download it another way?

have samsung intercept…worked fine for first 5 levels…now it is beyond slow…i turned off all other apps running in background, and yet still……so……..slow…..

  I had gotten to level 13 and it was running fine until it updated. It started to run slow and then I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It rean fine until level 15.

  Yep, same happened to me. It became so slow the screen would jump into almost screen shots of different moments of the action, like a slowed down movie. i uninstalled, then reinstalled, and it worked fine for a while, then it started again. also, coincidentally?, at the same time, i had trouble with my nook download. as soon as i uninstalled Angry Birds, the nook problem went away. i won’t be reinstalling Angry Birds any time soon.

also white birds drop eggs at unpredictable intervals after screen tap. Makes things interesting in an unintended and frustrating way!

Have Angry Birds Seasons on Backflip with Android 2.1. Horrible performance, poor framerate, unplayable. Maybe it’s AT&It’s bloatware, but this is the only game I’ve played on here that’s ben problematic.

i am having issues with speed around levels 11 and 12. it is so slow that i cant pass the level. any advice? i am going to try to uninstall and reinstall and see if that helps.

Just got Angry Birds on new Samsung Intercept. Level 2-1 – locked up. I couldn’t get out of it so I powered my phone down. NOW I can’t even turn my phone on… Suggestions? This phone is only two days old. Ridiculous – if app doesnt’ work correctly or it messes with the phone, then they need to take the free app out of the marketplace.

Runs OK on my HTC legend, but will sometimes locks up, or goes very slow.
Sees to have affected the whole phone, and I’ve tarted having problems with other apps that have been running happily for months.

I have a HTC magic and angry birds is so slow and unresponsive, I can’t get past level 2-21, its so unresponsive! My son has a HTC wildfire and can’t even get it to load, whereas my partner has an iPhone and it works like a dream

Captivate with offical 2.2 Froyo. Only game I have and it was fine till level 3 #10. Now it has no power to knock anything over our smash through. With any of the figures. I am rooted to use Titanium backup. No lag fixes, ROM or over clock.

htc desire hd, every time I open the app it runs fine for the first ffew levels then starts lagging badly and have to restart app or sometimes even my phone to get everything back up to speed.

angry birds takes up to half an hour to load on my HTC ERIS and when it opens it just black screens and i have to take the battery out of the phone to make it do something. and times when angry birds actually loads its so laggy and i cant do anything it takes up to 10 minutes to shoot one bird. please make it faster by updating it or something cause i think its pretty stupid that angry birds doesnt work on the eris but it does basically every other andriod phone!
