Multitasking on iPad was among the major let downs that iPad came with. However, Apple has shipped over one million iPads in one month which clearly tells the potential of this device. In the meantime, hackers have been able to jailbreak iPad with Spirit. This has opened doors for range of possibilities with iPad, that include sending SMS using iPad 3G and being able to achieve multitasking on iPad. The process is somewhat similar to that of iPhone. Follow the steps:
Step 1: Jailbreak iPad
Step 2: Run Cydia and install Backgrounder App
Step 3: Reboot your iPad
Once the iPad reboots, you should be able to run apps in background, allowing you to perform multitasking on iPad.
Optional: One more thing that you’d like to do is to turn on the “Badge” in Backgrounder Settings.
This will allow you to see the apps that are running in background.
Given the higher processing power of iPad as compared to iPhone, multitasking should be more quick and easier. Enjoy multitasking on iPad 3.2.
