How to Install Cracked Apps (.IPA Files) on iPad or iPhone

Wondering how to install cracked gamse & apps (.ipa) on iPad? Well, Apple won’t let you install any of those cracked files onto the iPad. And rightly so! If you like an app or a game much, you should purchase it. However if you are looking for some testing before you go on to purchase the app, please read on our guide on how to install cracked apps on iPad:

Step 1: Jailbreak iPad (Read our guide on how to jailbreak iPad using Spirit)

Step 2: Run Cydia on your iPad

Step 3: In Cydia, go to “Manage” tab and tap on “Sources”

Step 4: Hit the “Edit” button, then tap “Add”

Step 5: Enter http://cydia.hackulo.us and hit “Add Source”

Now a warning box will appear saying:

This repository has been reported by the community to be illegally redistributing copyrighted works. We cannot stop you from using it but we can (and do) recommend moral introspection and caution.

Step 6: Hit “Add Anyway” and repo will be added to iPad, now hit “Return to Cydia” button.

Step 7: Now search Cydia for “AppSync for OS 3.2”, once found tap on it.

Step 8: Then hit the install button, then tap “Confirm” to begin AppSync installation.

Step 9: Once the install process is complete exit Cydia.

That’s it. You can now install and test cracked apps on iPad before you go on to purchase them.

Step 10: Installing .ipa files in iPhone or iPad:

Cracked apps are usually in .ipa extension, to install a cracked app or game with .ipa extension in iPad or iPhone, connect your iPad to iTunes, double click on cracked app of game’s .ipa file and sync your iPad with iTunes.

    Does it have to be AppSync for 3.2, or did you mean AppSync for the version of ios being used? I used AppSync for 4.2, the ios version I have. No joy though, Apple still wants me to Authorize. Any way to take iTunes out of the equation – I loath that program.

    Ok.. I have a few hundred IPA files I’ve obtained from various sites, etc… however most of them need to be updated,.. or should I say the Apple App store says there is a newer version… but when I update .. I am given the mandatory option of Buying… but I cannot… so… question is.. once I’ve found these IPA files, and installed them via the method above… how do I update them? Can I? Must I find the cracked UPDATED file before installing? Thanks!

    Do ipa apps call home when run? Does Apple, or anyone else for that matter, have a way to tell whether an ipa app is installed on your phone?

    Hi, the jailbreak idea sounds like something I would like to try. However, I currently have two social networking site open that I cannot remember the access information to. Does the jailbreak affect thenwhole unit or do these and IE sessions remain unaffected. Thank you

    The method works with all current iOS versions, to date, as even 4.3.1 has been jailbroken. As long as you have Cydia. However, for those wondering about those update alerts from AppStore, you can install something like “MetaDataRemover” which will remove this, hence AppStore won’t alert you if an update becomes available. Also, newer versions of Install0us actually come with the inbuilt option of removing the metadata that can be enabled from within the app.
