JailbreakMe.com is for sale! The website known for first userland jailbreak is up for sale / auction on GoDaddy. So, if you want to purchase it, you can find JailbreakMe for sale on GoDaddy. Price is set at $2500 and there have been 27 bids on the domain as of now. Here’s the screenshot of the listing:

The website is functioning properly at the moment though and is showing Comex’s iPad 2 jailbreak teaser. Jailbreak for iPad 2 was apparently leaked yesterday that caused some buzz in the jailbreak community. It was later pulled and now everyone’s waiting for comex to release official iPad 2 jailbreak at jailbreakme.com. Now with the domain up for sale, it may be change of name of the jailbreak.

Update: According to iH8Sn0w, the jailbreakme.com domain is not owned by Comex:

Actually, @comex does not own the site. @npenree does if I recall correctly. (He owned it since jbme 1.0).

Update 2: Comex has tweeted saying that he didn’t own the domain and wasn’t the one who posted it for sale:

I don’t actually own the domain jailbreakme.com and am not the one who put it on GoDaddy.

It clears the air now.
