Updating your blog is status with every blog update could be time consuming, eh? Imagine the prospect of using a feed to twitter automating service that will automatically update your Twitter account with link to your latest blog post. Interesting? That’s why it’s been around for quite a while but not all bloggers are using it. However the services providing this facility have been popular these services include:

TwitterFeed

TwitterFeed is most popular Feed to Twitter service around. It offers feed synchronization with Twitter in 3 easy steps. TwitterFeed also allows you to add your feed to Facebook and other microblogging services like Laconica, HelloTXT and Ping.fm. TwitterFeed also shows you the stats for each of your tweet, some useful information like how many people clicked on links published by you on Twitter and you could also compare your posts by their popularity. You could also merge TwitterFeed with FeedBurner if you had Awareness API enabled in Feedburner.

RSS2Twitter

RSS2Twitter offers one unique feature in addition to what you already get with TwitterFeed, i.e. adding multiple Twitter accounts for single blog feed. This could be really useful for professional Twitter users and team bloggers as everyone’s account could be updated with their blog feed. This could give greater social media exposure to your blog.

Google FeedBurner

And finally, its Google’s very own feed to twitter updating service with FeedBurner. Google Feedburner now enables you to “socialize” your feed by allowing you to add a twitter account with your blog feed. It doesn’t allow adding multiple accounts with one feed but anyways it’s sort of built-in thing for many bloggers who rely on FeedBurner for Feed delivery. They won’t have to opt for third party services now. You can enable this service in your FeedBurner account under “Publicize” tab with name of “Socialize”. Here’s graphic presentation:

FeedBurner Socialize lacks in features from TwitterFeed and RSStoTwitter, earlier allows you to publish multiple microblogging services plus Facebook and later supports associating multiple Twitter accounts to single blog feed. It’s the ease of use, wide availability, reliability and user trust that is and will be forcing users to migrate from third party services to FeedBurner. We’ve done this already.
