Spirit jailbreak was released few hours ago and since then many users have used it to jailbreak iPad and iPhone 3GS 3.1.3. However a large number of users are having trouble with Spirit jailbreak, most of them are having issues when they try to jailbreak iPhone 3GS using Spirit. Here are some of the issues that users are having with spirit jailbreak tool:
- Spirit bricks iPhone 3GS and shows a black screen with white Apple logo after the reboot.
- Spirit doesn’t detect iTunes on some computers. It shows the error message “Spirit Requires itunes 9 to function. Please intall the correct version of iTunes and run spirit again.”. If such is the case with you, trying doing it on another computer. You may also try this.
- For some users, jailbreak process won’t complete. When they click on “Jailbreak”, Spirit is stuck for long and doesn’t respond.
- In some cases, Cydia doesn’t work correctly. It also starts and closes immediately sometimes.
- Some devices get stuck on the purple Mac-style image with the white bar full up.
- Spirit Failed to Jailbreak (Error Code 1).
