Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich Now Available

Adobe has released an update to its Flash Player for Android. You can now download the updated Flash 11.1 APK from Android Market for free. Flash 11.1 comes with support for Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich and also includes some bug fixes and performance enhancements. Here’s official word from Adobe:

Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto 3 for iOS and Android powered devices. It’s 10th anniversary edition of GTA 3 and is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad 2 and iPod Touch 4G.

The app is available in Android Market and can be downloaded for free. It’s not sure whether the app works as well as Siri does but the developers claim that it does. Download Adobe AIR 3.1 & Flash 11.1 APK (Flash Player 11.1.102.59)

Adobe has released Flash 11.1 APK for Android with performance improvements and bug fixes. You can now download Flash Player 11.1.102.59 from Android Market. An update to Adobe AIR has also been released alongside Flash update. AIR 3.1.0.488 also brings performance enhancements and bug fixes. This update includes bug fixes related to security and stability of AIR and Flash on Android devices.

Facebook has just released Facebook Messenger app for smartphones powered by iOS and Android. You can download Facebook Messenger on Android devices as well as on iPhone / iPod Touch. Facebook Messenger allows you to chat with your friends while on the go.

You can also send messages to a group of friends using the app while it also notifies you when you receive a message.

Skype 2.1 for Android Released with Support for Skype Video Call on More Android Devices

Skype 2.1 for Android has been released and brings Skype video calling on Android devices that were not supported in v 2.0. Earlier, Skype 2.0 for Android was released back in June that added video calling in some Android devices. Those with unsupported devices could still used a patched version of Skype 2.0 that allowed video calling on unsupported devices.

With Skype 2.1, the range of supported Android devices has considerably increased. Here is the list of supported devices:Skype-2.1-for-Android

Download Twitter for Android 2.1 with Push Notifications & Multiple Accounts Support

The updated version brings much needed features like push notifications for Twitter for Android app. Another great feature in new version is support for multiple accounts. Skype 2 on Galaxy S2, EVO 4G & Other Unsupported Android Devices

Skype 2.0 for Android was released yesterday with video chat support on limited devices. Well, it didn’t take longer to port Skype 2 on EVO 4G & Galaxy S2. Modified Skype 2.0.0.45 APK is now available for download, it may work on other officially unsupported Android devices as well.

Following devices are officially supported for video calls with Skype for Android v2.0:

  • Nexus S
  • Galaxy S
  • Desire S
  • Xperia Neo
  • Xperia Pro

However, an XDA member pulser_g2, of VillainROM fame, was able to port Skype 2.0.0.45 APK to Galaxy S2. It’s also confirmed to be working on EVO 4G over 3G network. According to the developer, it may work on all other devices. So, if you want to test the modified Skype 2 on Android device of yours, here’s the direct APK download link:

You can now download Google Plus APK, if for some reason, you haven’t been able to install the app otherwise. To use this app, however, you need to have an account on Google + that is invitation only for the moment.
