iTunes 10.5.1 with iTunes Match

Apple has released iTunes 10.5.1 for Windows (64 bit & 32 bit) and Mac OS X. iTunes 10.5.1 comes with iTunes Match. Apple had earlier released 3 beta versions of iTunes with iTunes Match, a service that matches your songs collection from those which are available in the iTunes store. The songs that are matched are automatically added to your iCloud so you can listen to them anytime. Here’s how Apple puts it:

Here’s how it works: iTunes determines which songs in your collection are available in the iTunes Store. Any music with a match is automatically added to iCloud for you to listen to anytime, on any device. Since there are more than 20 million songs in the iTunes Store, chances are, your music is already in iCloud. And for the few songs that aren’t, iTunes has to upload only what it can’t match. Which is much faster than starting from scratch. Once your music is in iCloud, you can stream and store it to any of your devices. Even better, all the music iTunes matches plays back from iCloud at 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free quality — even if your original copy was of lower quality.

iTunes Match costs $24.99 per year. You can store your entire song collection on iCloud. You can then listen to it from any iOS 5+ powered device, Mac OS X or Windows PC.

Download iTunes 10.5.1 from official Apple website.

Siri iPhone 4 Port Video

On October 16, 2011, in Mobiles, by TechAdmin

As you’d know, Apple introduced Siri for iPhone 4S earlier this month. It didn’t take long for devs to build Siri iPhone 4 port. Siri is voice command tool and was launched exclusively for the new iPhone 4S. However, Steven Troughton-Smith, an iOS developer has been successful to port Siri on iPhone 4.

Siri iPhone 4 port

According to 9to5Mac, the port worked well but the only problem that it faced lack of GPU driver on iPhone 4. Another issue being that Apple’s servers didn’t authenticate the requests from iPhone 4 hardware. Here is the video of the port:
