If you are a registered OS X developer, you can now download OS X Lion 10.7.3 11d16 DMG from Apple Developer Center. Apple has seeded OS X 10.7.3 Lion build 11d16 over at its developer website. This release brings updates to iCal, Mail, Address Book and iCloud storage.

It’s meant for developers only and Apple recommends that you don’t install it on your primary Mac machine as downgrading back to 10.7.2 won’t be possible. It’s also recommended to backup all your important data to an external device before you upgrade to Lion 10.7.3 as your data may be lost in the process.

What’s New in 10.7.1 OS X Lion

  • Address an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when playing a video in Safari.
  • Resolve an issue that may cause system audio to stop working when using HDMI or optical audio out.
  • Improve the reliability of Wi-Fi connections.
  • Resolve an issue that prevents transfer of your data, settings, and compatible applications to a new Mac running OS X Lion.
  • Resolve an issue in which an admin user account could be missing after upgrading to OS X Lion.

There are separate updates for Macbook Air & Mac Mini users from other Mac users. The 10.7.1 Lion update for Mac Mini and Macbook Air users resolves the issues specific to these 2 product lines as many of users have been experiencing problems in system boot up while plugged into MegaSafe adapter.
