Street Fighter IV for iPhoneCapcom is set to release Street Fighter IV for iPhone. Street Fighter IV may be available for download from Apple app store in March. It’s surprising move by Capcom considering the nature of the game. Since Apple iPhone does not have the physical keys that are required hardware feature for arcade games like Street Fighter. For this, Capcom has gone along the road opted by Assassin’s Creed and many other similar games, to offer an on screen joystick. Capcom’s on screen joystick has features like transparency control and placement options for joystick that enable you to set the transparency to suit your needs and enjoy the best possible game view.

Rumors are that Street Fighter IV for iPhone will offer multiplayer support via Bluetooth which could be a useful feature. However, Street Fighter IV for iPhone doesn’t look like making big at the app store, mainly because of the nature of the game. Apple iPhone users may find it hard to settle with games like Street Fighter on their iPhones but considering the image of Street Fighter as one of the biggest arcade fighting games of all times and given the love for the game, some users may still give it a try. Add to this the comment from the Capcom that it took them months to make Street Fighter IV compatible for iPhone, some users may settle with the game. It will be interesting how long Street Fighter keeps iPhone gamers interested.
