An update for ultrasn0w unlock has been released by iPhone dev team. New version, untrasn0w 0.92.1 is available in Cydia and can unlock iOS4 on iPhone 3G/3GS baseband 04.26.08. It’s a minor update that still only will unlock baseband 04.26 however it comes with iOS4 compatibility. So, if you are one of those users who have baseband 04.26 with iOS4, you can unlock iOS4 by installing ultrasn0w 0.92.1.

To install ultrasn0w on iOS4, add http://ios4.ultrasn0w.org/ to your Cydia source list.

If you have baseband 04.26 and haven’t updated to iOS4 yet, you will need to jailbreak iOS4 with PwnageTool that will also preserve your baseband.

05.11 baseband unlock solution is still not available with ultrasn0w 0.92.1 though but it may be around the corner as we have had blacksn0w RC2 ported to iOS4. Just got to wait for official release of iOS4 on June 21.
