Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) public beta will be available for download in July 2010. The announcement was made in TechEd 2010. In addition to Windows 7 SP1 beta, Windows Server 2008 R2 service pack 1 will also be available in July. Here is the screenshot from TechEd 2010 keynote:
